16 bovines rescued

Ghagwal police today claimed to have rescued 16 bovines near Suandha. Police said that on the tip off, a police party of Police Station Ghawal laid down a special naka at Tapyal morh and intercepted a 10 tyres truck bearing registration number JK02AT-4297.
But while noticing naka, the driver the above said truck tried to escape from the spot but alert police party led by Sub Inspector Rajeshwar Sing, Station House Officer Police Station Ghagwal chased and intercepted the truck near Suandha but the driver of the truck managed to escape from the spot while stopping the vehicle. During search of the vehicle, police recovered 16 bovines. Police at once rescued all the bovines and seized the truck.
In this regard, a case FIR number 42/2017 under section 188 RPC,2/3 PCA Act, 179/183/184 MV Act registered and investigation is on to nab the driver. This whole operation was conducted on the direction of SSP Samba Anil Magotra .
