Two civilians were Friday injured when unidentified militants lobbed grenade at Army convey in Bijbehara town of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
According to sources, unidentified militant’s lobbed grenade at Army convey in Goriwan area of Bijbehara town. “The grenade exploded on the road resulted in the injuries of two civilians,” an official said.
The injured persons were identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Hassan Khan, of Rainawari Srinagar and Gul Muhammad Thokar, son of Ghulam Hassan Thokar of Bijbehera. The injured persons were shifted to hospital for treatment. Medical Superintendent, sub district hospital Bijbehara, Dr Nahid Malik said that both the injured civilians are safe.
