3 soldiers injured in IED blast

Srinagar, May 28
Three soldiers were injured when militants detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in south Kashmir district of Shopian on Monday, official sources said. They said militants triggered an IEd at village Sugan in Shopian followed by heavy firing when an Army vehicle was passing the area. Three soldiers were injured the blast and the vehicle was damaged, they said adding the entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation has been launched to nab the militants responsible for the blast.
