4 day training course on implementation of RTI Act conducted

A four days training course on implementation of Right to Information Act (RTI) was conducted at IMPA Srinagar wherein officers from R&B, PCB, Agriculture and Nehru Yuva Kendra, Jammu were the participants.

Dr Jahan Ara Jabeen was the course coordinator and Dr. Bilal A.bhat assistant professor was also present during this period

There was a review session of the entire course which was presented by Dr.Jabeen. She was very particular in teaching and stressed on implementation of RTI act with problems and issues. She also focused on the disposal of RTI applications, role if appellate authorities. She involved participants to give feedback, so for learnt about the act.

Meanwhile on the request of participants and management a song “sou baar janam lenge” was sung by Rampaul Dogra who also spoke on behalf of the participants regarding the quality of RTI course presented during four days. He overhaul appreciated the management for quality of program.

Certificates were distributed among all the trainees.

Those who receive training were Bashir Ahmad Wani, Hafizulla Khuroo, Ali Mohd Bhat, Rampaul Dogra, Irshad Ahamad, Mohd Yousaf, Mohd Ayas, Khurseed Ahmad Ganai, Bashir Ahmad Alamgir and others.

Dr. Bilal A. Bhat presented the vote of thanks and hoped they  may be invited  in next course .
