40th day of consecutive curfew cripples life in Kashmir

Officially imposed curfew and separatist called shutdown on Wednesday paralysed the lives of people in Kashmir Valley on the 40th consecutive day.
Three forces personnel, including two army soldiers and a policeman, were killed and four soldiers injured early Wednesday morning when militants attacked an army convoy in north Kashmir’s Baramulla town, a police official told .
Militants also attacked the Kakapora police station in southKashmir’s Pulwama district late on Tuesday, injuring five policeman.
The curfew was imposed in all the ten districts of the valley, including old city area of Srinagar, to maintain law and order.
Five civilians, four in Badgam district and one in Anantnag, were killed and 14 injured in firing by forces on Tuesday.
