Replying to the debate on the motion of thanks to the President’s address in the Lok Sabha today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke extensively on the concept of “NEW INDIA”. New generation will play a vital role in providing direction to the nation, reiterated Modi.
Narendra Modi replying to the opposition’s criticism of NDA rule, said that the Congress believes in two ‘historical epochs’, BC- before Congress, AD- after dynasty. Congress party is known to violate constitutional sanctity.
Narendra Modi also highlighted various schemes that were implemented by the NDA government. He said his government successfully undertook work in 55 months that the congress could not fulfill in 55 years.
It really saddens me to see that the opposition refuses to see India’s progress across various sectors, said Modi.
NDA is known for their performance and its achievements, said Modi. His address comes amid a debate over various issues, including the farm crisis, unemployment and alleged misuse of constitutional bodies.
President Ram Nath Kovind addressed a joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha on January 31 -when the budget session began.
Earlier in the day, Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day amid sloganeering by the opposition soon after it met at 2 pm after an earlier adjournment.
