6.5-magnitude earthquake jolts Kashmir

A massive earthquake jolted Kashmir and several parts of north India on Saturday.
The epicentre of the quake, measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale, was 191 kilometres deep in Afghanistan-Tajikistan border, report said.
The earthquake hit the region at 12:44 am Indian Standard Time.
Reports said that people ran out of homes in Srinagar and several other parts of Kashmir valley.
However, there was no report of any damages yet.
