The students of Humanity Public School (Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, Samba) brought laurels to the institution by winning three medals in 19th State Taekwon-Do championship 2017 held at Brahmin Sabha, Parade recently. All the winner students were honoured in the special assembly by the principal of the school Gaurav Charak and Anku Charak, vice principal, in presence of Akashdeep Raina, Nitin Jamwal, Mahan Singh, Sandeep Zuthshi and all the staff members. The principal along with the vice principal lauded the efforts by the coaches Pankaj Kumar and Nikhil Jaral for their hard work to train the students for these type competitions. He also wished them good luck for the upcoming National events. Around 10 district teams and six clubs took part in it and around three students of Humanity Public School took part in it. All the gold medalist students are selected in Sub. Junior National Championship 2017 to be held at New Delhi in the month of May this year. The students of the Humanity Public School who won three gold medals were Snover-2nd standard, Sofia Malik-4th standard and Shifali Attri- 7th standard.
