While our PM Mr. Narendra Modi today said at RashtrapatiBhawan New Delhi, that Family is India’s biggest strength, and otherwise also at many platforms loudly reiterates that India is country of youths, but when question comes about unemployment and frustrations due to underprivileged treatments among youths, Jammu and Kashmir, came first.
On other side, at the UNGA in New York, where Pakistan’s PM Nawaz preferential appeal was about capturing Kashmir with his whole heated support to terrorists and terrorism. On the same platform, US Pres. Obama specifically while appealing the nation shared and stated a story that ‘We can all learn from Alex’a letter of US boy offering home to Syrian refugee. This letter from a six-year-old boy, who wanted to do his bit to help a refugee in need, is what the world needs right now. Alex, a resident of Scarsdale, New York sent a letter to US President Barack Obama offering his home to OmranDaqneesh, a five-year-old boy from Aleppo, Syria. The President shared the contents of the letter at the UNGA in New York during the Leaders’ Summit on Refugees.Omran, whose haunting image caught the attention of the media across the world, also caught the attention of Alex and his family. The little boy says that he will wait for Omran with ‘flags, flowers and balloons’ and that he and his little sister Catherine will share their toys with him. While sharing the story at the summit, Obama stated that everyone could learn more about humanity from the little boy. He said, “The humanity that a young child can display who has not learned to be cynical or suspicious or fearful of other people because of where they come from, how they look, or how they pray. We can all learn from Alex.” At GMC-Jammu, inside rising tensions at borders, another strain of starvations now wrapped up all Daily wagers, need-based workers, casually paid workers and ITI workers of Super Speciality Hospital (SSH), and few other associated hospitals of GMC-Jammu, where no Govt. official or Principal even taking the responsibilities of their salaries which are due for about last 30-40 months or more in some cases. And, young employees are facing financial crisis as they have not been getting salaries for the past more than two years, almost since December 2013, when the workers had drawn salaries last time. If sources be believed, a total of above 250 workers have been engaged at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and associated Hospitals, by our responsible chairs as need-based workers to run gas plant, lifts, AC plant, CSSD, electricity supplies and water supplies etc. within the hospitals and all are working during days and nights, but unfortunately without salaries.
“When the hospital administration is utilising our services 24 hours a day then why is there so much delay in the release of salaries of poor workers who are on the brink of starvation,” said Punit Sharma, president, Medical Mechanical Daily Wagers/Need-Based/Casually Paid/ITI Workers Association.”Most of the workers are coming from far-flung areas of Jammu like Akhnoor, Jourian, RS Pura, Samba and even from border areas, where another tension is eating their brains.” he added. But who cares? This is the question, now.
At the end, who in our nation-state worries about disturbing noises of F16 planes at Islamabad as youths of J&K already dying with one reason or another and at Nadihal, Sopore area of Baramulla district on Friday another youth Waseem Ahmad Lone son of Nazir Ahmad Lone, 22, was hit by a bullet and he was immediately rushed to nearby hospital however, he died on way, taking unrest valley’s toll near 90.
And, at peaceful Leh’Hall of Fame’ has topped the list of five Indian museums which figured in the list of best 25 museums of Asia and PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah to attend mega BJP meet in Kozhikode. Meanwhile, Pakistan and Indian officials or public in general have carried on a parallel war of words with forcefulmessages &speechesgivingspeedy airs of patriotic rattling to inland / outland media coverage onmilitary exercises and suppositions on secret involvements as-well.
