ABVP takes out candle march to pay homage to the Sukma martyrs

Showing anguish, pain over dastardly terror attack of Maoists on CRPF in which 26 soldiers were martyred, ABVP activists from various colleges and schools of the city took out a candle march to pay homage to the martyrs. The candle march started from Vijaypur park in the leadership of ABVP Vijaypur city president, Shotu Balgotra and culminated at Vijaypur park after passing through Vijaypur Bazar. Activists participating in the march shouted slogans “Naxalvaad Murdabad”, “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, “Vande Mataram” etc. At Vijaypur Bazar, the activists lighted candles, laid wreaths and observed silence for two minutes to remember the supreme sacrifice of 25 soldiers martyred at Sukma District of Chhatisgarh when a large number of maoists attacked on them. Some people from the civil society also participated and paid Homage to the martyrs. ‘ABVP activist, Pooja Singh urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give a befitting reply to the maoists.

Others who were present on the occasion included state joint secretary, Aman Sharma, Ankur, Jagdeep, Karishma, Shubham, Abbyas, Gurdeep, Anshu, Tarun and others.
