L. Mohanti – IPS, ADGP Armed J&K today congratulated Bahnu Pratap Singh of J&K Police for winning first ever Gold Medal for the State in the 6th Pars Cup Iran and wished him more success in future.
Bhanu Paratap Singh wushu player of J&K Police has created history by winning 1st ever Gold Medal for the State in the 6th Pars Cup held at Iran from 13th to 17th April, 2017. He has the distinction of winning two Gold Medals one each in 12th South Asian Federation Games held at shilling (Meghalya) and Senior National Wushu Championship held at Ranchi besides winning Two Silver Medals one each in 8th Wuhu World Cup held at Xian China from 1st to 7th November, 2016 and Master Challenge Cup held at Macau China from 8th July to 1st August, 2016. On the occasion, Mohanti also congratulated the coaches and players of different sports teams of J&K Police for their outstanding performance in their respective Games.
While congratulating the players and coaches, S Mohanti assured them for full support from the department to hone their talent. It is pertinent to mention here that DGP J&K Dr. S.P Vaid-IPS has awarded a cash reward of Rs. 50000/- along with Commendation Certificate Class 1st to Bhanu Partap in recognition of his wonderful performance in the arena of sports at State, National and International Level. He has also sanctioned cash reward along with commendation certificate class 1st in favour of promising players and coaches of J&K Police Sports Teams in recognition of their remarkable performance in the arena of sports.
