AHD launches INAPH application on World Veterinary Day

While celebrating the World Veterinary Day, celebrated annually on the last Saturday of April, the Department of Animal Husbandry, Kashmir, today launched the Information Network of Animal Productivity and Health (INAPH) application at a seminar here.
During the seminar, it was said that the INAPH is a Desktop/Notebook/Android Tablet based field IT application, which facilitates capturing of real-time reliable data on breeding, nutrition and health services of animals, delivered at the doorstep of farmers. Senior veterinarians shared their experiences and expertise on the subject.
On the occasion, a handbook for dairy practitioners and calendar of the Department for the FY 2017-18 was also released. The Department also inaugurated a photo gallery showcasing photographs of various animals taken by different veterinarians during the span of their services in the Department.
Director Animal Husbandry, Joint Director Poultry, former directors and other veterinarians attended the seminar.
Pertinently, on this day, veterinarians publicly put on show their broad knowledge, skills, and contributions to society.
