AIBCU raises demands of State OBCs at Sunderbani

A meeting of AIBCU held at Sunderbani (Rajouri) under the presidentship of Madan Verma, Tehsil President in which
Prof Kali Dass, General Secretary along with his lean wars the Chief Guest. Capt. Ramesh Kumar was the guest of honour who appealed the State Govt to solve all the problems of the state OBCs including the meaningful functioning of the Backward Classes Commission and OBC Advisory & Development Board. Participants unanimously resolved for agitations if Govt fails to do so.
Jammu Province President HM Sandokh Chand explained in detail about the due share of the State OBCs and termed Late P.M. VP Singh and Dr Ambedkar as the masihas for the downtrodden. Master Sain Dass State Secretary and District President Mohd Arfan appealed the state OBCs to remain united to achieve their goal. They also advised the OBC leaders in different political parties that if they are there they must raise OBC demands from their respective political parties. If such parties object over such matters, they must kick such parties. Prof Kali Dass State General Secretary explained that reservation has not given by any political party but is the sacrifice of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar who sacrificed the communal award and reservation came as the result of Poona pact.
No doubt representation/ reservation provisions are their in the Indian constitution but Pt. Nehru, the first prime minister of the country did not implement the Kaka Kalelkar Commission’s report and there by cheated the OBC’s of the country. He suggested a simple formula for unity by reaching the fixed place of meeting and not to sit in their homes and in democracy this is the only formula to sideline the opponents. All the participants unanimously decided to organise a big rally in the open in the near future. Madan Lal Verma thanked the gathering and appealed the Govt. for early redressal of OBC’s problems. ther prominents who shared their views were General Singh, Jasbir Singh, and many others.
