Ajay Nanda conducts extensive tour of Bhambla, Laiter

Minister of State for Finance and Planning, FCS & CA, IT, Labour and Employment and Relief and Rehabilitation Ajay Nanda today visited Bhambla, Laiter areas and laid foundation stone for tractor road from Gref camp to Sadoti in Block Pouni followed by a public meeting to resolve issues of locals. Later he also kick started the blacktopping of road at Dadoa Laiter and inspected the sites of proposed link road and Shamshan Ghats at Godhar.
The tractor road to be completed at an estimated cost of 7 lakhs under MGNREGA in convergence with CDF shall provide connectivity to three villages of Sadoti, Bhagot Jageer and Bhagot kalsa. Pertinently the Minsiter has already sanctioned 2 lakhs from his CD fund for the construction of the said road.
Later the Minister convened a public meeting at Panchyat Ghar Laiter in which locals highlighted the issues of water scarcity, link roads in interior of the villages, old age and widow pensions, special recruitment camps.
While responding to the demands, the Minister said that all issues and projected demands shall be resolved adequately after taking up the same with concerned officers so that better amenities are provided to the people.
Speaking on the occasion, Nanda reiterated that state government has taken up several projects to improve road net work in all parts of the state which holds the key to socio economic development of the areas.
