AJKLTF to organize seminar on “Need of Reforms in Education Sector” on May 14

All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) affiliated with Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh, Poonch unit has decided to organise a seminar on “Need of Reforms in Education Sector” on May 14 at Poonch. This was announced in the monthly meeting of the federation here at Poonch today.
In the meeting of executive members, the federation discussed the burning issues of the teaching fraternity and decided to organize a district level Seminar on “Need of Reforms in Education Sector” where prominent Educationists from across the state would be invited to present Papers on the need of reforms in the state. The teachers appreciate the efforts of Education Minister, Altaf Bukhari, MOS Education Priya Sethi and Commissioner Secretary Education Shaleen Kabra for initiating various reforms in the sector.
The teachers stressed on the need of constitution of separate education commission in the state for the overall development in the department.
The federation under the chairmanship of Dr Dharminder Shastri, District Coordinator also announced its new team of office-bearers for Poonch district.
Darshan Bharti has been unanimously re-elected as president, whereas Mohinder Bali as general secretary, Gurvinder Singh as convener, Sunil Sharma as organising secretary, Fayaz Arzoo, Sanjeev Dutta (Surankote) and Mohammad Shafiq Choudhary (Mendhar) as vice presidents, Yogesh Kumar and Amarjeet Singh as joint secretaries, Jeevan Prakash as cashier, Neetan Sharma as publicity secretary and Ramesh Kumar as office secretary.
Rainder Dutta, Pardeep Sharma, Chaman Sharma, Jyoti Sharma, Vijay Geeta, Parmila Dutta and Shivani Misri as district executive members.
The new elected team of AJKLTF assured the teaching community that they would leave no stone unturned to raise their genuine demands for the overall development of the department.
The newly elected president asked his team to work with missionary zeal and dedication for the teaching community.
