Vineet Karihullo condemns insult of security forces
Jammu Tawi, April 14
Lok Jan Shakti Party Youth state president, Vineet Karihullo today condemned the incident of insult to the security forces wherein a group of miscreants misbehaved them and beaten them.
In a press statement issued here wherein Karihullo said that it has deeply hurt the sentiments of the people. Besides, he also condemned the statement of former chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah wherein he alleged that some stone-pelters are “paid by the government to ensure low voter turnout.”
Reacting to the incident which has gone viral on social media, Karihullo termed it as most unfortunate and a highly condemnable act of provocation. It has hurt the nationalist sentiments of the people, as our forces are the symbol of nationalism, sacrificing their lives for the unity and integrity of the nation and to protect the life and property of common citizens.
He said that Dr Farooq Abdullah who made such provocative statements should be punished so that in future no one dares to give any provocative statements.
One side our, security personnel are guarding the civilians of the valley and on the other side, they are targeting while performing duties. This is shameful incident, he appealed the central government especially Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to take some stern action so that these kinds of incident would not happen in future.
He also appealed the Prime Minister to take some legal action against the former chief minister wherein he leveled allegations on government that there are many stone-pelters being paid by the government to create a situation where people don’t come out and vote.
