APS Domana celebrates AWES Raising Day

Army Public School (APS) Domana today celebrated 34th AWES Raising Day with zeal and zest. The day was marked with a number of special activities, events, speeches and acts. A number of environmentalist dignitaries were also invited on the occasion. The AWES day was celebrated by the students and teachers of APS Damana with great fanfare. On this day a lot of activities which included display your talent, Inter House Debate Competitions, Tree Talk, Special morning assembly, speeches etc were organized.
In the event, display your talent the students showcased their potentials by singing songs, performing dances, enacting small plays. The special event on the occasion was the tree talk and OP Vidhayathi, IFS was the chief guest for this event. He emphasized the importance of nature and its relevance in sustaining the life on the planet earth to the students
The teachers and the students also delivered speeches about the inception, aims and objectives of AWES. Dr Renu Gupta, Principal of the school also addressed the students and the teachers. In her speech the Principal highlighted the role of AWES in making Army Public Schools the institutions of excellence and the need for understanding the role of AWES in shaping the future of India.
