Army donates clothing, other material assistance to orphanage hostel

Anmol Pannu, Zonal president Army Wives welfare Association visited the Riglam Orphange Hostel in village Saboo, Leh here today. She was accompanied by Punchok Angmo who is deeply involved in social work in Ladhak, she is the wife of Dr Sonam Dawa Lonpo, chairman/CEC LAHDC Leh, Anmol Pannu donated clothing and other material assistance provided by Army to the Orphange Hostel. The orphange is providing shelter to a total of 32 children comprising of 16 girls and equal number of boys from the underprivileged and remote region of Ladhak.
Presence of Anmol Pannu and Punchok Angmo at the orphanage hostel reflects on the postive Bonhomie and harmonious environment between the Army and the civil administration in Ladakh region.
Anmol Pannu appreciated the work being done by the orphange in taking care of such underprivileged children of the region.
She assured that the Army shall continue to provide such assistance in the future also.
