Army organises cleanliness drive

In an initiative to spread awareness an motivate locals to adopt cleanliness measures in their routine life, Indian Army organized a large scale cleanliness drive or “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” at Nachlana village of Ramban district. The campaign witnessed huge participation with volunteers from all sections of society including school children, women and renowned social activists.

A lecture was delivered by local Sarpanch highlighting the necessity of adopting adequate sanitary measures in daily life. This was followed by mesmerizing Nukkar-Nataks organized by school students depicting the improving societal aptitude for cleanliness. Subsequently, a cleanliness rally was taken out with hundreds of volunteers coming out on street with brooms in their hand and enthusiasm within their minds to improve the sanitary condition. The event was successful in spreading its message of clean India and green India.
