Army organises tour of Bright Land Public School, Agra Border areas

Indian Army organised a seven day tour for two faculty members and twenty five eager students of prestigious Bright Land Public School, Agra into the picturesque Jammu and Kishtwar districts. The tour commenced on 18 May 2016 and will culminate on 24 May 2016. During the course of tour the team visited various tourist places, educational institutes and sightseeing in these districts.
The tour encompassed a deluge of interaction with the local youth, the locals of the area and civil administration to understand the rich and diverse culture of the region. During the tour students also interacted with the top brass of Indian Army and troops . The tour also encompassed sightseeing to snow clad areas of Sinthan, picturesque Gulabgarh and interaction with students of local schools.
The visit on the Line of Control (LoC) was one of the memorable moments for the students. The tour interacted with General Officer Commanding at Dharmund and exchanged views. The visiting students & faculty members shared with pride that they have taken back a rich experience of culture & diversity of the region.
The yeoman’s effort by Indian Army was highly appreciated by the students and will definitely help in fostering sense of brotherhood, and promote National integration.
