Army’s Bomb Disposal Squad defuses mortar shells in Poonch’s Balakote

 The Bomb Disposal Squad of Army on Friday defused four unexploded mortar shells found in village of Balakote of Poonch district along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. Official sources here said that four 120-mm mortars, fired by Pakistan, were recovered and destroyed on Friday by the Army. The Army men dug out unexploded live shells from and destroyed at an isolated place,” they said, adding, “The operation was undertaken by the bomb disposal squad, ensuring no loss of life and property.”
