Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Wednesday took a dig at the government for slapping another Public Safety Act (PSA) on incarcerated Muslim League chairman and senior Hurriyat leader Masarat Alam Bhat.
In a presser at his Hyderpora residence, Geelani termed the move as an act of “state terrorism”.
On Tuesday, the authorities slapped Public Safety Act on Aalam, apparently to scuttle his release from the jail.
He said the government has started an arrest spree across Kashmir by detaining political leaders and youths.
Geelani appealed the rights organisations to take strong note of the government actions.
