An Art Camp and International Art Exhibition which were inaugurated at Modern Art Gallery of International Roerich Memorial Trust (IRMT), Naggar in Kullu (HP) concluded. Senior artists Jang S. Verman (Jammu), Prabhinder Lall (Chandigarh) and Sankari Mitra (Kolkata) were present on this occasion.
The exhibition was organized by IRMT in collaboration with Verman Cultural Celebrations (Jammu) and Art Fort India (Chandigarh). The art works of twenty six artists from India, Sweden, South Korea and Vietnam were displayed in the International Art Exhibition. The exhibition was visited by a large number of artists, art lovers and general public from different parts of the country and abroad.
Along with the exhibition, a three days’ All India Painters’ Camp was also conducted at International Roerich Memorial Trust (IRMT). Senior artists Jang S. Verman, Prabhinder Lall, Jaskanwal Jit Kaur, Sankari Mitra and young artists Mehak Sharma, Nidhi Bhau and Ranju Kumari participated in this camp and created one painting each, generally in acrylic colours.
Expressing his views, Prabhinder Lall, one of the organizers said that the show and camp gave the organizers a chance to organize the two events simultaneously with success. He expressed his satisfaction that the exhibition and camp were visited by a large number of visitors from different parts of the country and abroad. He said that his organization would initiate to organize more such events there in future also. He also expressed his views on next round of events to be undertaken by his organization in collaboration with some other organizations.
