ASI organises Multi Speciality Camp at Bhadarwah

Two day multi speciality camp which was organized by J&K Chapter Association of Surgeons of India at Sub-Distt Hospital Bhadarwah concluded here today. 1800 patients were examined by a team of 12 specialist doctors during the camp. Beside examining the patients, 36 surgeries including Laparoscopic ,Cataract and Gynocology were also done by a team of Surgeons. The camp in which 1800 patients of Bhadarwah and other parts of District were registered in advance was coordinated by Sr Surgeon Specialist Dr Tariq Pervaiz Azad. ” This camp is being organized by the J&K Chapter of an international Organization. Our motive is to provide specialised medicare facilities at the doorsteps in the rural and far-off areas. This is the biggest camp till date in which maximum specialists provided their services, ” said Coordinator of the Multi Speciality camp Dr Tariq Pervaiz Azad. “We received an overwhelming response here, beside examining 1800 registered patients by 12 specialist doctors, 36 surgical operations were also performed by our team. Although we can not organize Multi Speciality camp of this scale in near future but we will try our best organize smaller camps regularly for the benefit of locals,” Dr Azad added. The specialist faculty include Cardiologist, Urologist,Neuro Surgeons, Gynecologist, Bone Specialist, ENT, Eye specialist and general surgery.
Prominent specialist doctors who provided their service include Dr Mohan Lal(Cardiologist), Dr Farooq Ahmed Butt (Bone Specialist ), Dr Ashok Sharma (Eye Specialist), Dr Sajjad Arif (Nuro Surgeon), Dr Tariq Pervaiz Azad (Surgeon Specialist) and others.
