Awareness camp on ‘Digi Dhan Mela’ organized

To sensitize the people regarding cashless transactions, an awareness camp under “Digi Dhan Mela” was jointly organized by Revenue Department and RDD at Community Hall Kharah village.Tehsildar, Kharahballi, Dr. Ashwani Hansa, BDO Kharah Bali Bhola Nath Sharma, Naib Tehsildar Dori Dager, Om Parkash Manager J&K Bank Khour, Revenue officials, VLWs and locals of the area attended the awareness programme.
While speaking on the occasion, Tehsildar Dr Ashwani Hansa stressed upon the people to make digital transactions/payments by way of UPI, USSD, POS, Mobile banking, e- banking, e- wallet etc. He also informed the people about USSD and exhorted upon them to adopt this method for doing digital transactions. BDO Kharahballi also sensitized the people about uses of cashless payment/ transactions. He also elaborated the Digi Dhan Mela and lucky Grahak scheme of Government of India. Manager J&K Bank Khour also informed the participants about the different modes of cashless transactions .
