After remaining out of service for nearly twelve hours, the 30-Km Bhaderwah-Doda highway was restored for traffic today afternoon.

The road was closed due to landslides and shooting stones, triggered by cloudbrust and heavy rains last night.

The road -only road link connecting Bhaderwah valley with rest of the state – was thrown open for one way vehicular traffic this afternoon, a senior traffic police officer said.

The highway was closed since 3.30 AM Friday morning due to massive landslides and shooting stones trigged by heavy rain and possible cloud burst last night near Bhala town in Doda district.
