Big update regarding restoration of 4g internet services in J&K

J&K administration has extended the ban on high speed internet, ordering that only 2G service shall continue in Jammu and Kashmir till December 25, 2020.

As per an order issued , only Udhampur and Ganderbal districts will have no high-speed restrictions, whereas the rest of 18 districts in J&K will have restrictions on high-speed internet services.

Meanwhile, BJP Leader Ashwani Kumar said that whole J&K will see 4g internet service in 2021.

He said 4g will restored in 2021 in whole UT of Jammu and Kashmir.

It’s pertinent to mention that last week BJP Senior Leader & Rajya Sabha Member Zaffer Islam said 4g will be soon restored in UT of JK.

Internet services were cut off in Jammu and Kashmir last year on August 5, hours before the Centre revoked Article 370 of the Constitution and split the state into two Union Territories. The low-speed or 2G internet service on mobile phones was restored on January 25, although outages continue to be imposed intermittently amid a complete ban on 4G network.
