BJP lauds pro-poor, pro-farmer policies of Modi Govt

State Working Committee of Bharatiya Janata Party during its recently held two day meeting  unanimously appreciated the various pro-poor, pro-farmer and development oriented schemes launched by Prime Minister Modi and resolved to carry them to every nook & corner of the state so that it reaches to every intended beneficiary. The measures taken by the Modi government for national security including the peace in the border region, foreign policy, social justice and terrorism were also discussed. The Committee wanted the state government to come out with a comprehensive policy for the rehabilitation of the families of terror victim.

The Committee also thanked Sushma Swaraj for personal interest taken in facilitating the move of the brother of martyr Capt. Tushar Mahajan from London to Udhampur and the mortal remains of a Kashmiri student from Russia. It expressed consent with the views of the Central Government with regards to reservation for uplift of the weaker & deprived sections of the society. It also demanded doing away with interviews for the recruitment of Group D, C & B non-gazetted posts.

The working committee lauded the effort of party leadership for making Bharatiya Janata Party the single largest party in the world by enrolling 11 crore primary members and emerging as the only pan-national party. 6.30 lac members have been enrolled in J&K of which 2.60 lac belong to Kashmir. The party today is represented in every polling booth from Suchetgarh to Nubra and Kathua to Kupwara.  The committee resolved to further strengthen nationalist forces in the Valley.
