Boy who crossed over to PaK after father’s reprimand handed over to army

The teenage boy of Balakote belt of Mendhar, who crossed over to Pakistan after father’s reprimand, was handed back to Indian authorities from Chakan da Bagh crossing point today.

“He has been handed to Indian army today at around 2 PM at Chakan da Bagh by Pakistani authorities ” a senior officer told Greater Kashmir. “He will soon be handed over to police by Indian army as he is booked in a case registered at police station Mendhar for illegal crossing of border,” he added.

15-year-old Zulfkar Ali, son of Ghulam Hassan, resident of Lanjote village of Balakote went missing on 21st of April after his parents treated him high handedly for a mobile theft. Later, police said the boy had crossed over to Pakistan.
