In celebrations of Ramnavmi, Brahman Sabha Poonch today organized a grand Bhandara at historic Annapurna temple , Sheeshmahal wherein several devotees participated in the Bhandara and Pooja ceremony. On this occasion, on the special invitation of Brahman Sabha, Dr. Shazad Malik, the Vice Chancellor Sai Nath University also graced the occasion and interacted with the community members. In his welcome address, Sat Pal Sharma acknowledged the dedication and commitment of Dr. Malik for his native district and informed the gathering that in year 2012, Dr Shazad got the distinction to be one of the youngest Chancellor of a university. Whereas while interacting with the congregation, the VC appreciated the positive approach of the community for inviting even a non-community member in their celebrations and said that communal brotherhood is the foundation of Indian democracy and that must be protected at all costs. During his address, Dr. Malik also directed his assisting team to install one electronic cold drinking water cooler within a week time for the temple devotees. While presenting vote of thanks, Sat Pal Sharma, Dy. Chief Education officer Congratulated the VC for gesture exhibited by him. other prominent people who spoke on the occasion include Darshan Bharti, Nischal Sharma, Nitin Sharma, Heena Sharma and Ankush Sharma.
