BSF jawan injured in sniper fire on LoC

A BSF jawan was injured in a sniper fire by Pakistani troops on a forward post at the Line of Control in Keri sector of Rajouri district on Friday. Krishan Kumar of 163 Battalion received splinter injuries after being targeted by a sniper fire. He is undergoing treatment at Army Hospital, Rajouri, where his condition is said to be stable.
The incident took place around 10 am. On November 29, the BSF had gunned down three heavily armed terrorists on the International Border in Chamliyal-Ramgarh sector of Samba district during the gun battle. The BSF had detected a tunnel used by the terrorists who had come from Pakistan to infiltrate the Indian territory.
