Businessman attacked at Kishtwar, 2 lakh looted, injured

A businessman was attacked by some unidentified bikers at Kishtwar last night and looted 2 lakhs from him.   According to reliable sources, two unidentified person under the garb of darkness last night looted near about Rs. 2 lakhs from a businessman in posh locality of District Kishtwar.   According to reports, The incident took place at around 9 PM when the businessman was returning home after closing his shop.    As per reports, the victim Narinder Kumar (who runs a shop at Old Bazaar Kishtwar ) after closing his shop was returning home while reaching near his home situated in Shakti Nagar area of Ward No. 10 was intercepted by two unidentified youths inside a dark lane . They hit him on his face and escaped towards Om Mehta Road Kishtwar along with his bag carrying cash  about Rs. 2 lakhs.   Sources said that,After being hit, the injured businessman chased them and he was again caught hold by the robbers and beat him and later with the help of an compliance they escape from the spot on a motorcycle leaving Narinder Kumar in seriously Injured condition.   People residing near the spot informed police about the incident.   After receiving the information,  SHO Police Station Kishtwar rush to the spot and shifted the injured person to District Hospital Kishtwar where the victim is undergoing treatment.    Senior police officers including SSP Kishtwar Sandeep Wazir also rush to the spot whereas police immediately seal the area and started manhunt to trace out the culprits.    When contacted, SSP Kishtwar Sandeep Wazir, confirmed the incident of robbing of a businessman near old DC office on Om Mehta road Kishtwar.   “After receiving information about the incident, We rushed to the spot and shifted injured businessman to Hospital”, SSP Kishtwar said and adding that we have registered an FIR no 92/2016 under section 341,323 and 382 RPC at Police Station Kishtwar and had started investigation.     “Injured businessman is presently admitted at District Hospital Kishtwar,once he will be fit for the statement, police will record his full statement,” SSP Wazir added.    “Police has launched a manhunt to trace out the culprits and assured that the accused behind this heinous crime will be arrested soon,” SSP Kishtwar said.
