‘Carrom Board’ competition organised

Army undertook an initiative of organising a “Carrom Board Competition” at Government Primary School, Chhatru in Kishtwar district, today. The competition was conducted for the students of Primary Schools of far flung areas of Chhatru. A total of 60 students took part in the competition. These students were divided into 30 teams. The matches were played with immeasurable joy and happiness. The competitive spirit amongst the kids was on full display. Final of the competition was played between Primary School Zalla and Private Academy Chhatru. Both winners and runner-ups were awarded by the Headmaster, Government Primary School Chhatru. The competition provided an opportunity for the kids and soldiers to connect and share light-hearted banter in a relaxed, friendly and informal atmosphere. All the teachers and students from all the participating schools highly appreciated the efforts of the Army towards providing the students with such activities which would prove quite helpful in their all-round development.
