CBI Raids Multiple Locations In Jammu Kashmir

JAN 17: With the increase in the price of air tickets due to an increase in black marketing of tickets, CBI today raided multiple locations in Srinagar and has arrested many travel agents selling air tickets in black. Earlier many complaints were registered in police stations against registered and unregistered agents selling tickets offline.

As per our sources, today CBI conducted multiple searches in different locations in Srinagar in which fake travel agents were arrested. These travel agents have a connection with the manager of an airline company. A Fir 03-2020 and US120,468,471,409 and 120B under the IPC act have been registered against these agents. The CBI was getting many complaints about the price of air tickets increasing when the roads get blocked in winters. A complaint was also taken to the director tourism after which CBI came into action and raided many offices in areas near Lal Chowk, arrested travel agents, and sealed their offices.

The Central Government should look into the matter and should open a window that will have transparency so that people will pay a fair price for air tickets.
