Chiralla Development Committee demands action against BDO

Chiralla Development Committee today staged a protest against Block Development Officer (BDO) Chiralla and demanded action against him.
The protest was led by Rakesh Charak president Chiralla Development Committee (CDC) and Naseer Ahmed Batt president Employees Development Front (EDF) Chiralla.
During protest, agitated activists of Chiralla Development Committee alleged that the BDO Office Chiralla always remains closed and it has not been opened since last seven months. They alleged that the department functions from Doda, Thathri or Thallela where the BDO and his staff feel suitable and public is suffering badly due to the callousness of concerned, BDO and his subordinate staff.
The developmentental works are hampered and there is uncertainty prevalent in the people, they alleged.
The locals further alleged that the road leading to Chiralla is in shambles and it is on mercy of contractor. Inspite of sufficient funds being available the condition of the road is alarming. There are no culverts and other work is also incomplete. The locals also demand opening of PHC and Bank branch at Tehsil headquarters.
Earlier, a meeting of Chiralla Development Committee was held at Headquarter Seva Chiralla. In the meeting Chiralla Development Committee was reframed.
Others who were present on the occasion included vice president CDC Mohammad Ameen, general secretary, Farooq Ahmed Wani, vice president, Pawan Kumar EDF Chiralla, members of Chiralla Development Committee, Mohammad Sadiq vice president, Ashok Kumar Tehsil president BJP Chiralla, Mohammad Ashraf Khan block president BJP Ashok Kumar publicity secretary and others.
