CII & Godrej organize free workshop for J&K industry

In a bid to keep the industry of the state competitive against the changing and challenging global industrial trends, CII on Friday organized a free of cost workshop for industry on the warehouse safety and security in collaboration with Godrej.
This was a corporate initiative to strengthen the supply chain practices of the industry in J&K and share best practices from the global leaders. Industry owners, warehouse operators and workers from all over the state attended the workshop in good numbers.
Rahul Sahai, Chairman , CII J & K State , Managing Director , Reliable Plastics Pvt. Ltd has given the Welcome Address, he addressed on the CII’s Centers of Excellence across India are supporting the Indian industry through various services on key areas for India’s sustainable growth. To address the need of sharpening India Inc’s competitive edge through better Logistics and Supply Chain practices, CII – Institute of Logistics (CIL) was established as a Center of Excellence in logistics and supply chain. The Institute creates a platform for the Indian Industry to gain more insights into the emerging trends, industry specific problems of national importance and global best practices in logistics & supply chain management.
Navneet Duggal, Regional Sales Head – North India, Godrej Storage Solutions addressed on the technology required in the Systems Safety. Sanju Stephen, AGM – Sales & Service, Godrej Material Handling addressed on operation safety in material handling.
