Confederation of Indian Industry (CII will be submitting a suggested draft of a conducive scheme for Entrepreneurship Development for the youth of Jammu & Kashmir. A panel of eminent industry leaders of CII has volunteered for this initiative of Entrepreneurship Development for Jammu & Kashmir. A core team of academicians and industrialists will be jointly working closely with the Government of Jammu & Kashmir towards this direction. Earlier last month, CII delegation had met the Chief Minister and promised support to the vision and mission of Chief Minister for the industrial development in the State.
A series of Kick-Starter Workshops will be planned in the top universities and colleges from the first week of June to motivate and mentor the aspiring entrepreneurs of the state. “To contribute to the progressive and yet environment-friendly eco-system of J&K, we should focus on exploring the opportunities to motivate entrepreneurs towards IT start-ups, Rural Entrepreneurship & Urban Industrial Manufacturing.” said Sheikh Imran, Chairman, CII J&K State Council.
“This step will further encourage the youth of the state to come forward and move towards the theme of “Job Seekers to Job Creators”. With this background CII invites all important stakeholders of the region to actively participate and contribute to this initiative. CII aims to submit the first draft of the Start-up Scheme for Jammu & Kashmir after a series of deliberations within the industry members and Government of Jammu & Kashmir, he added.
