Civil Defence Samba today organized one day first Aid camp at Kushan Public Higher Secondary School Samba here.
A large number of the students of the school took part in the camp. On the occasion, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Rajesh Sandal (DYSP) briefed the students and staff in detail about the Civil Defence activities.
TOT instructor Roshan Lal delivered a demonstrative lecture on natural manmade disasters and speaking on the occasion briefed the Civil defence volunteers about basic rescue techniques and management incident planning to the students and staff lecture was on medical first Aid MPR CPR, choking etc. This training is given to mitigate the disasters especially to the students and staff of the school. The principal of the School, Monika Slathia also delivered lecture on civil defence importance of the said organization and necessity of civil defence at present situations, Chief Warden Dharamvir Singh, Deputy Warden Sanjay Gupta, Divisonal Warden Raj Singh, Narsingh Dayal, Deputy Divisional warden and Civil defence /SDRF/ officials and 125 participants were present in this function. Principal and staff also appreciated the work of civil defence and SDRF Samba. During the closing note by the chairman, Verinder Singh appreciated the role of all the officers’ instructors who participated and trained the students and staff of the school to save the precious human lives during any eventually and also appreciated the role of civil defence /SDRF department for giving such an important type of training /awareness to the civilians.
