CM to take up issue of implementation of 7th pay commission with PM: NMC

President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC), Subash Shastri today appealed to Chief Minister to take up the issue of implementation of recommendations of 7th pay commission by arranging provision of proper budget and other financial grants, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As the announcement regarding the implementation of recommendations of 7th pay commission is any time, due, Shastri urged Mehbooba Mufti to take up the issue of funding with centre, so that the J&K becomes the first state in the country to provide benefits of revised salary/pension to its employees and pensioners, along with central government employees and pensioners, he said.
While addressing a well attended meeting of NMC activists here, Shastri hailed recent decision of state cabinet favoring pensioners and employees on superannuation with the latest DA installment to be calculated while finalising, their pension claims.
Shastri further urged Mehbooba Mufti to clear all pending issues relating to regularization of sixty one thousand daily rated workers. Alternatively till the regularization take place wage heads with sufficient funds may be place at disposal of departmental heads for timely
disbursement of salaries to this category, he added.
