The Department of Health and Family Welfare Block Ghat today accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Wajid Ali Najar who retired from government service after rendering more than 33 years of dedicated services in the health department.
Block Medical Officer Ghat Dr Mohammad Fareed Bhat, Dy SP Hqr Iftikhar Ahmed, Doctors, Paramedics and Ministerial Staff of Block Ghat were present in the farewell function.
Speaking on the occasion, various speakers including Dr Mohammad Fareed Bhat, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Shafi Attu, Aatifah Mashhood and Aatikah Mashhood termed the outgoing CMO Doda as a dedicated, hardworking and honest officer who always worked for the welfare of the people and the employees in the District besides Dr Najar took a lot of initiatives in the interest of public, streamlined the health system in the District for which he also got various appreciations during high level meetings.
The speakers further said that Dr Wajid’s style of work and conduct will always remained encouraging for the employees of health department. They also lauded his role for having rendered unblemished services and performing his duty with utmost zeal and zest and wished him a cheerful, happy and prosperous life ahead.
Expressing his gratitude, CMO Doda Dr Wajid Ali Najar expressed thankfulness to BMO Ghat and all other staff of Block Ghat for their love and support during these years. He said that he will always remain available for the betterment of society in his post retirement life.
Later on, CMO Doda was presented with various gifts as a toke of love and affection.
District President NHM Union Doda, Faizan A Tramboo conducted the proceeding of the programme who also highlighted the achievements of Dr Wajid Ali Najar during his tenure as CMO Doda.
