Former Minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla has said that PDP-BJP government has utterly failed to fulfill basic necessities of common man in state. Addressing a large gathering of public at Bhour Camp in Gandhi Nagar constituency today, former Minister today said that coalition partners have dismayed and disappointed their respective electorate besides exposing their hallow and false commitment to their slogans always used by them to hoodwink the people.
Bhalla said that the governance failures writ large in almost every field, adding to the miseries of each and every section of the society. The government has failed to ensure delivery at the basic levels like availability of ration, power, health, education sector & unemployment besides rehabilitation of flood affected people and the farmers. The employees of different categories including teachers, daily wagers, casual and need based workers and other such categories of people are regularly seen on protests for their just and genuine demands. This kind of situation has disappointed every common man who are already facing the brunt of sky rocketing prices of all essential commodities and items of daily use.
Former Minister said that BJP-PDP coalition government in the State has failed in all fronts. People of all walks of life including farmers, border residents, students, employees and small and medium level traders are suffering due to the opportunistic attitude of both BJP and PDP. Bhalla further said that Congress always took land mark steps to uplift the downtrodden & poor sections of the society and ensured the participation of the deprived sections in every sphere of life and appealed the people of different shades of the society to come under the umbrella of Congress party in order to strengthen the social and secular fabric of the state and ensure the overall development of each and every sections of the society.
