Cong seeks clarification over KP’s township issue

Congress on Saturday asked PDP-BJP government in the state to come clear on separate townships for Kashmiri Pandit issue.

While addressing a presser here at hotel Lal Rukh, senior leader and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Prithviraj Chavan asked the state government that, “What are you going to do over KP’s issue?” Chavan said that the Congress party is not going to speak over the when the government is coming clear over it. “We can only speak over the issue after the government would implement its plan on ground,” he said.

Meanwhile, senior congress leader asked Prime Minister, Narendra Modi that what has he achieved after visiting several countries and inviting Prime Ministers of different countries. “Since the Modi assumed the charge of PM, he visited various countries and also invited PM’s of several countries. But I want to ask him now that what he has achieved after visiting or inviting them,” he questioned.

He said that BJP came in power in centre; several countries including Russia and China are very close to Pakistan while Russia has provided military hardware to the Pakistan. “By inviting or visiting countries, what has Modi achieved,” he said. Chavan said that several scams took place since BJP assumed the office but no one has been punished or booked so far.

“Even the government allowed Lalit Modi and Vijay Maliya to move outside the country. The Education Minister of Maharashtra is having a bogus degree but nothing has been done in this regard,” he said. Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra said that the central government has failed to fulfil its promises done with the people across the country. He said that the central government during and after the elections made several promises with the people but unfortunately failed to fulfil those promises.

“The promises especially over development made by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi were hollow promises as he failed to fulfil his promise on ground,” he said. Chavan who was accompanied by JKPCC chief, G A Mir, senior congress leaders Nawang Rigzin Jora, G N Monga and others told reporters that not even a single promise made by the Modi led government was fulfilled since their two years of tenure.
