Congress raises uproar in RS on Arunachal, demands recall of Governor

For the fifth consecutive day today, the Congress raised an uproar in the Rajya Sabha on the issue of the alleged attempts by Arunachal Pradesh Governor to destabilise the state government, forcing three adjournments, the last one till 1430 hrs.

The Congress Members trooped into the Well, shouting slogans against the government and demanding  the recall of the Governor.

Amid the uproar, the House was first adjourned during the Zero Hour till 1200 hrs and  thereafter twice during Question Hour —  till 1237 hrs and thereafter till 1430 hrs — when the Members continued with the uproar
