Congress the only unifying force in the Country, says G.A. Mir

Describing Congress Party as the only unifying force in the Country, Congress today in its Executive Committee meeting held in Srinagar stated that Party will continue to support sustained dialogue process with all stake holders in order to find solution to all the problems concerning Jammu and Kashmir State and the People. The Party also lashed out at the opportunistic politics being played by some political parties in the State to gain political mileage and condemned them for pursuing dual polices to mislead the people for personal benefit. Lashing out at the certain Forces, Groups in the State for adopting dual polices to gain mileage out of Kashmir problem, JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir while addressing the meeting of Executive Committee of Kashmir province asserted that Congress is the only unifying force in the Country and State and will continue to work as a bridge between State and the Centre. Congress Party has never believed in double standards rather exposed and defeated those Forces misleading people on sensitive issues inorder to gain mileage, he said. Mir said Congress Party is committed to sustained dialogue process with all state holders in the State to find lasting solution to the Kashmir Problem, as every issue can be sorted out through the process of sustained dialogue and reconciliation. He said Congress Party is capable of defeating the forces and groups playing Kashmir Card to garner support for them by misleading people by playing emotional cards, Mir said. The Congress Executive Committee condemned the demonetization policy of the Centre Govt and termed it as move to benefit the rich and big business tycoons linked with PM Modi. The so-called demonetization of PM Modi was anti people who have caused great hardships to common people of the Country, as a result people were living in isolation due to wrong policies of the Centre. The Congress executive also condoled the sad demise of Chief Minister Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalithaa, who breathed her last late last night after a brief illness. The Party while condoling her demise termed it as a great loss to the entire Nation. The Party described her strongly lady who remained committed to the causing of serving and strengthening people. PCC also offered condolences to people of Tamil Nadu.Those who addressed the meeting included Former PCC President Peerzada Mohd Syed, MLA Vice President Haji Ab.
