Contractual lecturers allege CM has no time to meet them

10+2 Contractual Lecturers today staged protest against state government for their pending demands in front Press Club of Jammu here.
During protest, the agitated contractual lecturers declared today as black day for them as they showed black flags in order to show resentment towards the government for not taking their matter for regularization as serious. While addressing the media persons here, 10+2 Contractual Lecturers president Arun Bakshi said the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti paid no attention towards their grievances despite they have been sitting on the hunger strike for the last 67 days.
He alleged that they have approached for the appointment of Chief Minister but she didn’t have time to meet us. Bakshi further said that they showed black flagged only in order to show resentment and also by declaring today as Black Day.
He also appealed the Chief Minister to spare only two minutes time to hear their grievances.
Bakshi said that we are warning the government to stop such type of cruel attitude towards us and soon redress our grievances otherwise ready for state wide agitation. Jeevan Kumar, state press secretary said that we have firmly decided to sit on hunger strike till some concrete result comes from government.
