Coolpad Cool Play 6: Specs, dual cameras, price and everything you need to know

Coolpad has just launched the Cool Play 6 in India for a price of Rs 14,999. The smartphone is a spiritual successor to the Coolpad Cool 1 which was applauded for its dual cameras and battery life. The Play 6 arrives in a hotly contented segment of the market dominated by heavyweights likes the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Moto G5 Plus.

The Cool Play 6 comes with a premium metal design, the latest version of Android, a dual camera setup at the rear and fairly powerful hardware for the price. The smartphone will go on sale from September 4 exclusively via Amazon India.

The Cool Play 6 will be manufactured by Videcon as a part of Coolpad’s Make In India efforts. Coolpad claims that the 6GB RAM and dual cameras are the distinguishing factor of the Cool Play 6, which has been priced similar to competition from Nokia and Motorola.
