Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Corporator Anu Bali organised a Covid-19 testing camp at Rehari Colony falling in Ward-24 of Jammu city. Around 51 Covid-19 tests were conducted among residents of Ward-24, Rehari Colony in which 12 cases were confirmed with COVID-19 positive during the camp. On the occasion, the doctor’s team explained women and senior citizens to take up the issue seriously and required precautions to be undertaken for COVID-19. The team also highlighted the early symptoms of coronavirus. They also performed a demo on how to wear medical masks and how to wash hands.
Corporator Anu Bali while addressing the media said that it is a alarming situation as far as sudden rise in COVID-19 cases are concerned. She further added that there is need to more cautious about spreading of Coronavirus pendamic and urged upon the people to wear masks and gloves and use sanitizers including to maintain social distancing so as protect the previous lives of the people.
