COVID: Jammu wing of J&K HC to remain close for two days

The Jammu Wing of Jammu and Kashmir High Court shall remain close for two days after some of the officers including two Judicial Officers were tested positive of COVID-19 on Thursday during Rapid Antigen Testing launched by the District Administration.
Chief Justice J&K High Court and Principal Sessions Judge Jammu issued two separate orders that High Court Jammu Wing as well as District Court Complex Janipur shall remain closed for two days on September 4, 5.
Around 31 persons including some security officers whereas 2 Judicial Officers among 26 officers/ officials were tested positive in Rapid Antigen Tests
According to the order issued by Chief Justice Gita Mittal that as informed by the Registry, some officials in Jammu Wing of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir have tested Covid-19 positive, as per the SOPs, access to the High Court premises in Jammu Wing has to remain closed for two days for sanitization purpose.
No person except the sanitation workers will be permitted to enter into the premises, read an order.
Urgent cases listed on September 4 shall be taken up for consideration on September 7 whereas dates in other matters will be given by the concerned Bench Secretary and the same will be uploaded on the website of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir on September 7.
Principal District and Sessions Judge Jammu Sanjeev Gupta ordered that the Presiding Officers of all the Courts shall hear the urgent cases through virtual mode from their respective residences.
