CUJ organises training session in collaboration with AIESEC

The Department of HRM&OB, Central University of Jammu organised session for MBA students in collaboration with AIESEC India. Trainers from AIESEC (IIT Delhi Chapter) delivered lecture on career opportunity in global scenario.
The trainers presented the details about various opportunities available in international market for the students pursuing MBA. During four hour session, in-depth discussion was taken up on various aspects related to personality grooming, exploring career options and preparing the individual to face not only national but international assignments were discussed by experts. Earlier during the day Dr. Jaya Bhasin, Head HRM & OB welcomed the experts and apprised that it is as per the directions of Vice Chancellor Prof Ashok Aima that such sessions are being organised.
She informed that due to such initiatives the Department has provided 100 percent placements as well as paid summer internship to all the students of department. Pertinent to mention here, earlier during the day a placement drive was also organised wherein five students were selected for Global Business Solutions.
Meanwhile Professor V Rajamani, Emeritus Professor JNU visited the Central University of Jammu at Temporary Academic Block Sainik Colony.
He delivered a Lecture on The Relevance of the subject of Earth Science and appreciated the initiative taken by Central University of Jammu for the establishment of Centre of Earth Sciences.
Prof Rajamani suggested that University should have its unique identity and be a centre of Excellence in the field of Earth Sciences while addressing the galaxy of scientist, academician and Faculty members of Central University of Jammu.
Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Jammu also gave a brief account of the development work in the university. He also praised the eminent earth scientist for taking interest so passionately in the development of the Centre of Earth Sciences at Central University of Jammu.
