Srinagar, December 14
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal today inaugurated a day-long workshop on Digital Financial Inclusion Awareness & Access through CSCs.
The workshop was organized by CSC e-Governance Service India Ltd. and covered issues like community mobilization, beneficiary registration, holding of sessions etc. by Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs). It was said that VLEs have prime role in informing citizens in their respective Panchayats about various government policies and about digital financial options available to them. It was given out that the trained VLEs will identify and mobilize the community to access and use of cashless electronic payment system such as IMPS, UPI, USSD, e Wallet, Debit/Credit/Prepaid Cards issued by banks.
On the occasion, the ADC highlighted the importance of conducting such programmes and assured full cooperation from the district administration for successful implementation of the project.
